    Account security breach


    Hi, two weeks ago this profile was inexplicably removed from my family and the security settings changed without knowing, so it can no longer be used. When attempting to re-add it, it just says 'try that again' or 'it's not you it's us'.

    Two weeks later, we've tried all modes of support with no resolve. The closest we came was online support where the advise given was that it would be escalated, however this didn't happen and the reference number given was false.

    At this point, I'm not sure if I'm asking a question or just sharing my completely negative experience. I'm a loyal but very dissatisfied customer. I'd just like it fixed.

    I would also suggest that if you've downloaded your gamertag to any other console that you be sure to head over and remove it. Also double check to ensure that someone didn't set your tag as Home on their console.

    I have seen your previous forum thread with the same issue. I'm sorry you are having a difficult time with this.

    Try removing your account(s) from the Xbox console, and adding it back in. Instructions can be found here Add or remove a Microsoft account on an Xbox console | Xbox Support

    Afterwards, try to add your daughter's account to your family group:

    • Press the Nexus (Xbox) Button
    • Navigate to your profile picture > My Account
    • In your settings go to Account > Family Settings
    • Manage family members > Add to family
