    Account Retrieval_Lost Email Address


    I can't remember the outlook email address I used when I created my original xbox live account, all I know is my gamertag. I cleared the cache yesterday and it's wiped my account. Is there anything I can do to retrieve this? I have hundreds of pounds worth of purchased games on this account. Thanks

    Hi Anirban.

    Thanks for your response. Unfortunately according to the information in the link you provided there is nothing I can do if I cannot identify the email address.

    This is really disappointing as all I did was clear the cache & there was no indication that doing this would also remove my account details.

    As I said, I have hundreds of pounds worth of purchases on the account and 3 years' worth of achievements. There must be a record of this email address somewhere within the Microsoft database but it does say that Microsoft cannot provide this information so I guess I'll just have to accept this loss & be more careful with my account details in future.
