Account Relegation: Duplicate Phone Number

Greetings Microsoft and all attending personnel. I would like to present a problem that has occurred to my friend and I, and largely by that it has been my folly. Without too much preamble, I will dive into the issue so I can get this fixed as soon as possible. I have been without a phone for about a week now due to passive theft, and consequently I have been using my friend's cell phone number for my account access and mutability since all of my accounts became vulnerable. Strangely, and most unfortunately, my friend has dolely reported that various accounts of his are now inaccessible: Facebook, Microsoft, and Whatsapp are compromised. It seems likely that my use of his phone number effected his accounts, and he can no longer sign into these important portals to society and his personal world. My big question, and I ask this solemnly, is how can I rectify his account damage, and leave mine without his personal number tied to my settings? I know that this might be convoluted, but I have hope for our technology, and I ask you kindly...please, is there something that I can do? Thank you again for your consideration and attendance.
