Hey

I'm trying to recover my account that was blocked over a month ago. It's a 10 year old account that I have spent thousands on games and use every day. I have tried to fill out the recovery form many times. It won't send the code to the phone number registered on the account and I don't know why because no one I've asked has bothered to find out. I have completed the form that is supposed to look into why your account was blocked several times and haven't received any kind of reply. I have had many agents promise to call back on the phone and not one of them actually has.

I've put my card details, the email contacts and subject lines, all my basic info, I can't put other passwords because there aren't any, xbox device id number, like what else can I even put in??? To be clear...is the network device id the same as the live device id they ask for because it doesn't say ''live device id'' in my settings. There is console id, network device id, and global device id. They can't even put accurate terms in the recovery form that apparently works perfectly 100% of the time.

I have no idea what to do. I can't believe microsoft has taken 10 years worth of money I have spent on their products and no one will look into why this recovery form is broken. I can't even describe how angry and frustrated I am that they have pretty much robbed me and repeatedly fail to look into my problem.

Hi there. Normally when a Windows Live Id becomes blocked or invalid they will appear greyed out under Account Management on your console, unfortunately you will not be able to change the email address yourself and it would be a good idea to contact the
xbox support line.

You can't sign in to the Live ID itself? Are you able to sign into your gamertag on your console? If you can't sign into it, it may have been compromised, and to change your WLID tied to your gamertag, you need to be able to log into it (on your 360).

If you think your gamertag is still on your friends Xbox, take a USB stick to his place, and move your gamertag from his Xbox onto the USB stick.

In future:

Only use "Recover Gamertag" as a last resort. Instead, you can leave the account the USB stick, and use it on whatever console you want. You won't have to wait to recover the gamertag, you can play straight away.
Never rely on your friend to delete your gamertag from his Xbox. He may want to "play a joke" on you, and think it's funny to mod your account so it has a bright pink Avatar. He may find it funny, but YOU will be the one who
has to lose your account, as well as everything you have bought on it, NOT HIM. You alone are responsible for what happens on your gamertag. You have already had a GS reset, so you may have already experienced this. BTW more than one GS reset=Perma-ban.

The fact that your account say you were online playing Fifa 11 only 4 minutes ago show the account is still being used. If that is not you playing it, that proves my above point again.
