Account Recovery with access to original email account

I have accesses to my email account associated with my Microsoft account but it has been hacked into and a 2nd email that I didn't add was set a recovery email I cant log into my Microsoft account to change it because It sends the password change email to the other email not the email on my account is there anyway to have the password email sent to the email that im logging in with and not the 2nd email as its not mine?

I have done the account recovery form but this account was made just to migrate over a Minecraft account because you cant add more then one Minecraft account to a Microsoft account so there is not much on it and it was never used for anything else so not alot of information i can give

not used the account for a few years but my kids are old enough to want to play the game now and would like my account back

The thing is I don’t have access to the email used when creating the original Xbox account, the account was created around 9 years ago and my email has changed from the one used on my Xbox account. It was never an issue as the password was always working. I do have access to the recovery email but there hasn’t been an email there detailing security changes. What should I do moving forward? Im not sure how to cancel my Xbox game pass subscription as I can’t login to the original account to cancel it.

Im seriously stumped on how to do the account recovery form properly as I have put in dead for mark information that i know is correct and filled every box possible yet it still comes back negative.

And with creating a new microsoft account is there any possible way to migrate my xbox account to a new email and password without needing access to the original email associated with the account as i dont have access to the original email nor the account on my xbox

When was the last time you were able to access your account? If it was just recently, there's no way your account was deleted or closed because it will take 60 days to close an account. Since it asked you to create a new account with your original email address, that only means that your email address was removed from your original account and was replaced with a different one by someone.

To start the recovery, you should know the current email address attached to your main account. You will need it in filling out the recovery tools online such as https://account.live.com/pw and https://account.live.com/acsr.

I am afraid that you cannot request a refund if you don't have full access to the account.

You just have the game in your Original Account, if you lost the account access you need take recovery
