Account Recovery Process

I had a problem logging in to my Xbox account, and tried to fix it online. Except, I couldn’t remember my password and the email connected to the account I couldn’t access, so I couldn’t reset my password. I was redirected to the account recovery form, which I’ve filled out SEVERAL times. I’ve filled out every information on the form possible, but each time the account recovery was denied due to insufficient information. I haven’t been able to access my Xbox account for weeks and I’m very frustrated with the redundant process. I spoke to a customer service person (which isn’t available for this issue), and they couldn’t help me out with it, which was stated on the form. That’d be alright, if the form actually led to results. I’ve checked every forum and FAQ, and Microsoft’s only answer is to keep filling out the form with as much information as you can remember (which I’ve done several times), or just simply get a new account.

I’ve spent hundred of dollars on this account, thousands of hours using it, and now I’m told to start over with a new one. Extremely frustrated with the lack of results of Microsoft’s account recovery process.

And if I really do just have to create a new account, I’d there anyway to obtain the games/subscriptions I’ve lost by doing that? Or any of the information with my account?

It's strict for a reason due to pii laws

It's a severe penalty just hanging your account to anyone without validation

Data security is a must if you aren't providing correct info noone in the world will give you access rightfully so

Randomly guessing info is a huge security risk nor can they tell you what you got wrong which lets any random person to guess

You wouldn't want anyone to have access to your private info if they didn't prove that they are you

Your account would never be secure if that anyonre cam just access your account by guessing

No, it is not possible to transfer any content to another account even if you had access to the account.

Do you know if there’s anyway to resolve this issue without the account recovery form is this whole thing a lost cause?

When they say fill out more info they litterally mean fill out more info

Don't be skimpy on it

Details do matter I know this worked for an old friend for helping him recover his mothers account I helped him with that one I wrote the sticky the account recovery proccess about it awhile back on old forums lol

And I can say I got a lot of good feedback about it helping people and a lot of thanks while.it was up

Don't ask me now though I wrote that years ago

And replying to any requests for more info should never be ignored provide more detail and info of things you should know like achievements and dates earned etv

There are no other means of recovery than the form. Sorry.
