Account Recovery Not Working Can You Please Help?

I recently received an email from Microsoft saying that there was some strange activity on my account and that I needed to log in to verify it. When I went to my computer I logged in with my email and it wanted to send a recovery code
to a phone number I don’t have any more. Since I can’t receive a verification code from that phone number i used a recovery email address. When I put in the code it requires that I fill out an account recovery form.

I have completed the form 6 times now. Each time I complete it I get an email saying that the automated process could not verify me and has blocked me out of my account. I can only complete the form twice every 24 hours. To be honest, I don’t know how
you can’t verify its me when I provide my name, address, debit card information used to make purchases through the account, my Xbox Live device ID, and so on. I have literally thousands of hours on this account and hundreds of dollars. Additionally, I recently
made two pre-order purchases through this account and now I’m worried I’m going to be billed for products that I won’t even be able to access.

I changed the security information to my current phone number but that will take 30 days to go through. I am also worried that even if it changes to my current number and I'm able to input a code through that number it will still require me to go through
the account recovery form that is not working. It required me to go through an extremely confusing and inefficient process to get hold of an actual consumer support agent, rather than a virtual assistant that does nothing better than a 5 second google search.
The support assistant went through the form with me and said that all the information I was putting into the form was the same as what microsoft had in their records of my account, yet the automated process is still flagging it as incorrect.

I really just want to get into the account that I payed for and have spent thousands of hours on. There has to be a way for an actual person to look at my account recovery form and determine that it is me. It seems ridiculous that I haven’t provided enough
information to prove that it’s me so you’re blocking my account forever.

I’ve been an xbox game and supporter for years. I just want to play.
