If we may ask, when was the last time you were able to sign in your Microsoft account? We are asking this question to help us identify if the error you are receiving is due to inactivity of your account. As per our Microsoft Services Agreement, your Microsoft account must be signed for a given period of time to keep it active.

If your email was too old, it does not matter as long as it was active. If your Microsoft account was inactive for more than the period provided in Microsoft Terms and Agreement, then possibly it was deleted due to inactivity and recovering it will longer be possible. See under " Using the Services and support of this link: Microsoft Services Agreement
