Account recovery after changed phone number

Can't access the old phone number, when trying to recover Microsoft auto denies the request. Really need a support ticket opened this is a 10+ year account with many games and lots of save data.

The account recovery form is automatically denied so we just need a support ticket to help review the form with a human eye or something.

First I would like to set the expectations, all the process of recovering your password is 100% automatic, for security because Microsoft takes security and privacy very seriously.

I will tell you how is the process to recover your account, you have to reset the password, and this can be done in two ways:

1. Through one of the identity verification options that you registered at the time of creating your account which can be by an alternative email or cell phone number.

2. By filling out the recovery form which will ask you for multiple details of your account in order to verify that you are the owner of the account.

That's the thing the phone number and recovery email were changed.

you should always update account phone numbers as soon as you know they are to be changed, also setup alternative recovery email addresses and make a note of the account recovery code. support are not able to assist due to 2fa as they cannot access that.

On the 15th you should be able to use that phone number as a recovery option for the account unless someone else fulfilled successfully the recovery form and cancelled the change

I have done both but to no avail. My recovery phone number has since changed and since I can't log in, I can't change the number.
