Account privileges for multiplayer games required ark ascended

I have game pass ultimate active, ive factory reset and kept games and apps, ive checked for updates, ive checked the communication section to make sure it was set to allow for everything but i cannot get passed the first screen to join game or start a game on ark ascended. Inpay a ridiculous price for game pass ultimate i shouldnt be having these issues

Honestly there isn’t much context to give, the game is installed and plays but when I select join game (multiplayer) it freezes for a moment and says multiplayer permission needed, I checked my internet connection and my subscription was up to date but no issues on those ends

Oh sorry for the confusion its ark survival ascended

Its Ark Survival Ascended. It was happening prior to them releasing a major update today.
