Account password

Hi there, I have recently updated my xbox and had to reset to factory settings, which is fine.

Although I am now trying to sign back into my xbox and unable to do so.

The reason I am unable to do so is below:

- I set up a fake hotmail account 15 years ago for my new xbox as I was underage, this was associated to my new xbox account gamertag

- I now do not remember the password -- The phone number linked to email address above is no longer active

- I have tried to complete the Microsoft account recovery questions procedure although it keeps being reviewed and rejected. I assume because I can not remember the fake d.o.b I provided 15 years ago.

- The bank card associated to my xbox is also lost which doesn't help.

Microsoft are impossible to contact and are being no help.

Can someone help. I don't want to lose all the data assocsted with my gamertag.

If you can't remember the password and also don't have enough information about the account, you won't be able to get access to that account, as you need to have a way to corroborate that it's yours

Put this into consideration, if there's a way to access your account without providing enough information, anyone would be able to access the account, there's a lot of people always trying to get access to accounts that doesn't belong to them, that's why you need to have a minimum of the information and also to use real information and update the contact information

If you are using a hotmail account, have you tried changing the password at the hotmail site?

Without knowing the email, password or phone number it may be difficult and definitely not something someone in the forums could accomplish.
