    Account not found again... and again... and again...


    So, Microsoft employs 228,000 people. Yes you read that right.

    So why the hell can't they fix this problem. One day my son's Microsoft login account works just fine. The next he cannot login. So no Minecraft nothing.

    We tried password reset - but cannot reset the password if "the account does not exist".

    Tried to reset the account - same thing.

    Tried multiple other ways.

    Looked in the forums.

    And this is the 3rd time this has happened. Last time I gave in and created a new account and re-purchased his software again. But why should I have to do that?

    There is no way to contact technical support apart from writing here. So here it is. I just do not understand why Microsoft does not address this problem. It is written about all over the internet.

    Anyone from Microsoft care to help?

    This is not your problem, we have reported this issue to the Microsoft development team, this is due to a Microsoft server issue that is affecting a number of users, we fully understand the inconvenience caused by this issue, you can try to recover your password using the Alternate Email Address Security Proof or recover your account using the user's ACSR.

    There's a bunch of solutions worth trying here for such an issue:
    support.xbox.com/.../system-update-help

    One extra solution I would attempt would be to delete the system updates and redownload, by using these steps:

    - Go to Settings --> System --> Storage

    - Highlight your storage device but do not select it

    - Press the following buttons in order: Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X Button, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X Button

    - You should be prompted to clear any updates. Select yes, and restart when prompted.

    - Once restarted, redownload the updates.

    Hey, sounds like the problem is with downloading an update, which is why you keep having to go through the procedure. You might want to try the steps
