Account needs updating error

I've been trying to get my points transferred to my account for about 6 months now but it says "your account needs updating before points can be deposited" I just talked with Xbox support and confirmed nothing is wrong with my account and everything is up
to date but still have that message. Any idea how to fix this? I've got close to 12,000 points just sitting there

My rewards credits are not converting to $

I have ~ 55,000 rewards credits but they are not converting to $ properly. This problem goes back to 2014.

I get an error "Your account needs updating to make a deposit!".

When I click the "needs updating" link, I see my account and it is up to date.

Please help!

After reviewing your account, it appears that you are currently being affected by a known internal database issue which is interfering with the information on your account. What is happening is that your billable account information is being incorrectly
communicated to our servers. Since this data is necessary to determine where to place your deposit, the process is aborted. This missing information is also why our system is incorrectly asking you to update your data. This issue is currently being worked
on by another team. At the current point in time, they have not yet provided us with an approximate solution date. We apologize for the inconvenience, and ask for your patience while our other team works on a solution.

That error code means you need to update proofs, but since the proofs weren't updated for a certain period of time there is now a temporary block on the account. You need to do a password reset or unblock the microsoft account and update proofs to get back
online.

It means that there is an error with your current payment method and that you need to update or change the payment method on your account.

We responded with why this is occurring at (https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/thread/d6717f5f-5f29-4b81-9771-e81a1c0165c1). As mentioned, this is due to a database error
outside of our program. Until we receive a resolution from that databases team, this deposit error will continue. At the time of this post, we have not yet received a resolution for this issue. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi there Hackerss M8. Sorry to hear about the login issue. I have goo news though. That error code tells us that the security proofs need to be updated on your account. You can either update them at account.live.com, or call 1800-4MY-XBOX to have an account
specialist update them for you. Once that is done, the error will go away, and all will be right with the world.
