Account Locked to Child

I have encountered a slight issue with my account recently and it is irritating at this point. My account is currently a child account. I want to change it to an adult account, however every time I sign into a parent account and set the security to adult
defaults, my console still tellls me that my account is a child account. can anyone help me with this horrible issue?

ACCOUNT HAS ME AS A CHILD THOUGH I AM 30.

My late fiancée and I had a family account. He passed away almost a year ago and my account is set as a child. I am 30 years old and have had this account since November 2008. Since its locked me as a child, I am unable to download or even update anything
on my Windows phone. Please help

 

Adult Verification for Child Account

I can confirm that this is happening to me. Now my Childs accounts are moved from Family Centre to individual accounts I have been asked to set up Secondary security. In doing so I have to verify details on the email address which in turn requires me to
login as my child on the XboxLiveFamilly.com address and from there I am asked to login as an adult and after that it wants me to be in the States so I cant complete the process and the Child is locked out of their account , we just cant login.

That isn't setting your accounts to.adult that's privacy settings

It.wont.bypass.parental.settings or allow you to.do a custom ganerpic
