    Account keeps getting switched


    Whenever I want to play an Xbox game on my PC (Forza Horizon 5), even though I'm signed into the account I've used for years when I first got the Xbox, it is unable to be used to play any games and instead keeps switching over to the second account I made when I got Minecraft a while back. This is frustrating, because I want to play Forza and now I can't. Any thoughts?

    Hello AytchFL,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are trying to play your games on PC Gamepass but it keeps switching to the wrong account.

    Has anyone else logged into your PC, or do you have a separate account? It may be defaulting to that account.

    Try changing the permissions for the different account.

    1. Press Start then open up Settings
    2. Select Accounts > Email & accounts
    3. Select the other account that is not your main one to play games, click the drop down carrot and where it says Sign in options select Apps need to ask me to use this account
    Alternatively, you can remove that account which will remove all associated apps and documents saved under that account.

    Restart your PC after making the change, log out of PC Gamepass and sign back in with your account and see if that works.

    If u have it auto log on before. I think it log on for that profile. It just a guess here.

    I already tried to do it through the website but I get the same result.

    If I do switch to NZ shop will I keep the content I bought on the US shop? (I know I need to spend the money on my account before I do switch)

    Also will I keep my download history and ability to redownload the games I already own under my US account?
