Account keeps getting blocked for no reason since upgrading to Xbox one.

I have helped my neighbours set up their brand new xbox one and opened them a microsoft account so they can use xbox live. However, after the first time of using it, every time they have turned the xbox on and tried to sign in to xbox live it says that their
account has been blocked! This has happened 3 times a day for the last 3 days since i have set it up.

I have changed the password and set up 2 step verification but it has blocked them again when they’ve just gone to sign in.

The only game they play is an xbox 360 game that was downloaded onto xbox live somehow when the disc was inserted.

Any help would be great as they (and myself) are getting frustrated now.

Here's how to get a hold of a real Microsoft person.

Microsoft support gives you option of chatting in the browser or opening the windows 10 app, I recommend the app because on the browser I watched my cue position
go from 2-1-0-2-4, after switching to the app it connected better. You have to talk to the virtual assistant a little bit first but you will get to a real person after rejecting the virtual assistant responses a few times.
If anyone will know what's going on with your account it will be them.

Please note, after talking to the virtual assistant you have to click on a blue underlined "chat" text

I am keeping the Xbox One I have til it runs out of life.

I want to upgrade to a Xbox One X but the price and I need a 4k Tv. So it is costly. I like to get the whole life out of a gaming system. I am sure I will upgrade at some point but not at this time.

The Xbox One I have works fine. Tv I have works fine. So, I guess no reason to.

If you have issues with your account just ask for a password reset. Keep in mind support can help you if you provide your account data correctly.

use the link and log in with your account and it should tell you why you have been blocked and what you can do to be unblocked
