Account Issue: Two apparent Xbox accounts on one Email address?

This issue was experienced with two of my kids xbox accounts. The one with this account seems to fix itself but I am still having an issue with the Xbox using another email address.

It seems that you're having trouble with your Microsoft account after migrating your Mojang account to Microsoft account. It is possible that the account you have migrated is an alias to your Microsoft account. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.



Here are steps that we can perform:

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com and sign in with the email address that you used to create the original Microsoft account.



2. Click on the "Your info" tab and then click on "Manage how you sign in to Microsoft".



3. Under the "Aliases" section, you should see both of your email addresses listed. Make sure that the email address that you used to create the original Microsoft account is set as the primary alias.



4. If the email address that you used to create the original Microsoft account is not set as the primary alias, click on "Make primary" next to that email address.



5. Once you have set the correct email address as the primary alias, try signing in to Minecraft again and see if it resolves the issue.

It's not possible to have 2 gamertags with the same e-mail. It's possible that you may have misspelled the e-mail you used when you first signed up for Xbox LIVE which is why you're seeing a different profile.

If you still have access to the new gamertag "NearCircle" on your Xbox 360, please go to your Dashboard > Settings > Account > 3rd Tab (Account Information) > Account Security > Take a look to the right and carefully look at the e-mail that's shown there.

That's the e-mail you'd use to login to Xbox.com and when you do you should see the same gamertag on the top right as you do on your Xbox 360 console.

First of all having two accounts on one email address is not possible for the reason that each account has its own unique gamer tag. However, on your case this is unusual since it has been tied on one email address.
