    Hey Community,

    I was on a foreign mission an meanwhile i noticed that my microsoft account get´s unusual.

    My gamer-tag does still excist, but my login is gone. Someone changed my e-mail adress and the password and it seems that the whole microsoft account with the old e-mail adress is lost.

    That means my friends can see my old gamer tag with the icon, the gaming points etc., but i have no chance to log in.

    * I can´t reset the password/e-mail by myself.

    * The verificationlink from the microsoft support does not work, because my e-mail adress is not value any longer.

    * The microsoft support started to escalate my case but the inquiry was denied

    What can i do now? Is my account lost, with all the money i´ve invested?

    Please help me.

    You should try to fill out the account recovery form again, It uses old info so you should be able to regain the account. I know it takes a few tries for some people so it may be worthwhile to try again.

    Unfortunately i´ve already tried these 3 steps. The support got all information but nevertheless the case was denied.

    Then you must try Xbox support to open a case. If they denied your claim you may have lost the account forever.

    If you've already done this then you may have to start a new account. I recommend using 2 step verification this time:
