Account is locked and mobile number has changed so cannot recover account

so without the mobile number i cannot get my old account back?

Have you guys account ever been locked?, if so how long did it take to be unlocked?

Locked from too many incorrect logins? Typically you have to have microsoft send a notification to the mobile device for the account to recover, but it is automated so there is no waiting period.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried this but I cannot recover the account as whoever has stlen it has also changed my details so nothing I enter matches for me to recover. So someone is using my account and getting away with it because I cant seem to get
any help. any other ideas?

when an account is comprimised the proccedure is to lock the account to prevent changes to the account that could cost you recovery of the account

if you want to dispute charges which if someone recover your account or purchased via the website thats what billing lock is for for unauthorized purchases

but if your account has been comprimised and the account info is changed enough for someone to reset the info like a normal phisher does

then you need to lock it down and let xbox reset the info

(after which you should change the reset info )



and no they cannot give you the password

once the investigation and security of the account is done you will not receive the password but reset link which allows you and ONLY you to know the password

xbox support does not store passwords never will
