Account information being confusing

Hello,

So a few days ago I was playing minecraft and it normally automatically logs me in, but when I tried now its saying Im logged out, and logging in prompts that my microsoft account does not exist even though I was playing with it a few days before. I've made a new account under the same email and it still won't log me in to my correct account, telling me to buy minecraft again. What can I do to get help with this?

Hello there,

Thank you for replying to my post.

I've learned that I'm still signed into the account on the Xbox app on PC, as well as signed into the account on windows. Though it seems that the recovery email has been changed, as well as the email itself, has been changed.

It involves random amounts of letters and numbers for both. I assume that there is still nothing I can do?

(Edit: I fixed my problem. Since I was logged onto the microsoft account on my PC (To access the actual account), I was able to use Windows Hello and use my PC pin to log in. If anyone has this same issue and your microsoft account is linked to your PC, use Windows Hello and it should work)

Can you access your Microsoft account linked to your Minecraft? If you cannot, then there is a possibility that your account might have been compromised. Creating a new account will not help as the new account does not have the license to the game that your original account purchased. Another user reported a similar problem on another thread. All access has gamepass included. So do you activate that on the account rather than it being tied to the console then? I'm just confused as to how it all works and struggling to find the information needed.

Hey there Jam! I understand you are being prompted for a parental account when accepting the Terms of Use. I'm a little confused, you said phone support was able to return the parent account information to you, but you are still unable to accept the TOU?
Are you getting an error when putting in that information?

If your account still has inappropriate information on it due to it being compromised, you'll need to contact phone support again to help sort that out. Please let us know how that goes, thanks!
