as above, just change the alias, make that primary and then wait a few days and then remove the old alias, they then won't know your email or details and you carry on as normal.

Hello again RyanJN, I'm sorry if I wasn't explicit, as you mentioned that your account was hacked, the procedure of retrieving it by the form does just that, after submitted and investigated by Microsoft, it passes all your data to a new account, entertaining your Gamertag does not hold.

As your account, is secure, but you want to change the email and data, this would be the exchange of "Alias" because it is not possible to change everything for an account, but it is possible to change the email, and keep the Gamertag.

The most important thing is also to have in your account the emails and recovery phones, and also the 2FA, is an additional layer of security, and you can only log in with the account after it is confirmed by your device.

I feel as though you didnt read my question.

I have changed my passwords, delinked all devies etc etc, my account is secure atm but I am still wanting to delete it as they are still trying to access it.

can anyone else offer something other than a generic answer please!

So do you want to connect your real email to your correct gamertag?

If so you can do this via the steps provided here:
support.xbox.com/.../manage-microsoft-account and see the section:

"Can I switch my gamertag to a different Microsoft account?" and "Why do I get a “The Microsoft account (or Windows Live ID) you’re switching to is already linked to another Xbox account” error message?"



So basically create a third Microsoft account (this is used only to move the not used gamertag to)

Move the not wanted gamertag from your real email address to the new microsoft account, to free up your real email address.

If that is done you can move your real gamertag to your real email address
