Account hacked and xbox account has been linked to a different email

Hello, so today I tried to load up my xbox, but the email that was associated with the account has now been changed, and the original email, that was connected to the account was also deleted by the hacker, so I have had to create this new account. I have spent all day in xbox support getting absolutely NO WHERE, so I'm hoping that this will provide the right answers. I have tried the account recovery, but technically since the old email " does not exist " as a Microsoft account anymore, that has lead me no where. I have had the old account for 10+ years and would very obviously not want to lose it.

You mention that you contacted Support all day, but what they did, what guidance or information they provided you, because this forum is for public viewing and unfortunately, as independent consultants, we do not have access to some data and tools as they have .

This is how always have been, each email account can only be linked to one Xbox account, once that link has been made that email won't be capable to link a different Xbox account, there's no exceptions for this

Email hacked and also xbox hacked. Sorry to hear that.

All you can do is recover your email account first (and see what else has been compromised), and then recover the xbox account (and any other accounts that were compromised from the stolen email account).

My xbl account is completely different from any other accounts that I use both for microsoft and other sites. I use totally different emails. And I have had my account since 2007, and never once has been hacked when someone has stated they were going to
hack me. Then again I don't let just anyone use my account on my xbox either, nor do I fall for phishing scams. Social Engineering is the #1 way your account gets compromised with Xbox Live (my opinion).
