Account hacked and recovery cases being closed

Hello

I was hacked about 6 months ago and I have been in contact with the customer support for 6 months trying to recover the account but they are dreadful they keep telling me to open a new case which I do then 2 weeks later they close it with out saying why.

I don't know what to do now as I can prove who I am and all Xbox purchases.

Do I have to take them to court or is there somthing else I can do ?

Hello, Thanks for posting on Microsoft forum. I would recommend make another ticket on Microsoft support and ask them to review your case As now you can show them your identity and they can check the account is registered to you so they may be able to
hep you get the account back.

Thank you for replying, honestly I have asked them to take my driving licence and passport as a form of ID but they reject this every time for me it feels like they don't want me to get my acco8nt back and want me to re buy everything I'm now in contact
with my bank to recover all funds since 201e with Microsoft as Microsoft are now committing fraud.

If the you create the account with the email from another person it's going to be difficult.

Now all the support assistance its by the website only in particular situations you speak with a Agent.

Try to contact support by twitter to see what options they can give you.

It should be easily done if I was able to contact an agent. They switched it to his email for me, they can switch it back to my own -shrug-

I would just start fresh at this point. I know you probably have lots of data and saves and achievements ect. but if it is not built under your name then it makes things difficult.

If you end up getting into the account, all you can do is force change the password, setup 2FA on it, change any secondary email on it and any and all information possible.
