Account hacked and changed to a different email and password

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but support won’t let me talk to a human on the phone. A couple months ago, my Microsoft account was hacked around 6 PM CST and the email and password was changed. I’m still not sure what the password is, but the email was changed to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

I mainly used this account on my Xbox and laptop to play Minecraft and a few other games, but now I’m unable to access my outlook inbox.

I’ve noticed the hacker playing Minecraft Java edition on my account. They bought some stuff using the credit card on the account (which is now cancelled).

I’d love to be able to talk to a real person instead of a bot telling me to go to the help page, because it’s not helping one bit. I’ve submitted several support forms with all the correct information, but whoever is looking at my responses can’t verify it’s me. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

I'm going to be honest, since couple months has been passed since the account was hacked the probability to recover it are very low (just to not say 0%)

But if you want, you can try to recover it following the solutions provided here:

In cases like this, no one here in the forums agent can assist you with this process / tell your the specific email / modify or share account details due to privacy and security reasons

Sorry to hear it. No one can hack your account unless you give them info on how to get in (ie. login and password).

I would start by changing the password for your account's email address. Then you can try following the steps listed at the link to change the email address associated with your gamertag.

The link also provides conditions that may prevent you from changing the email address.

Its not xbox that has been hacked,more likely they got his details through one of the 3rd party sites he use`s,such as EA.

Advise him to change all emails and passwords on his account, and to make sure he uses`s different emails and passwords on all other sites that he uses.

There is a BIG difference. You gave your account login details away.

If the person got your email and password WITHOUT you GIVING it to them they yes you would be hacked but that isnt what happened. You freely gave it to them and then they changed your password. That isnt in any way hacking.
