My account has been hacked and Microsoft is not helping me get it back because I don't have enough proof that I'm the owner. I don't know how their process works, but it's frustrating because now it says my account doesn't exist even though it's not gone, it's just that someone changed my email and recovery email. How can it not exist if it's still in use by someone else?

I can't log in to my account, I can't verify it because the email is no longer mine, and now I can't even play Forza Horizon 5 because it constantly asks me to sign in with that account. Is there any way I can get it back, or is it gone forever?The thing is also that i bought forza on steam so i never order something on that account.

I would like to recommend you following troubleshooting step to recover your account:

As your account has been hacked then, you can recover your account using the Microsoft account recovery form, when you fill out the account recovery form, make sure that you provide as much information as possible and correctly so that the account can be easily recovered. This is an automated process with no human intervention, so the whole process is done automatically by the system and here is the link: Recover your account

Please note that the account recovery form is only available in English.

If you think that your account has been compromised i would suggest you change your password immediatly. Work through the troubleshooting steps provided in the link.
