    Account Gamer tag gets ban and somebody else get to use it


    So my Original/Main account got the gamertag switched by Microsoft for being inappropriate when its name was . when i made it was support to mean United States Sea Man for starters means Navy. So as if that was bad enough getting the gamertag
    switched for a non inappropriate reason, somebody else makes an account with the same name just with a lowercase s like this . After talking back and forth with xbox support that failed to guide me to get my account gamer tag back for 4 days straight
    they told me to go here and make a post and hope that a xbox ambassador will reply, comment, or reach out to me.

    The only ones that can respond to any Enforcement action issued (including forced name changes), is an Enforcement Team member and they don't use the forums.

    I have tried to do a case review and it got "decision overturned". Xbox support failed to help me file another case review and the only thing the 4 different xbox support operators told me was to write in the forums.

    you don't get banned automatically somebody has to report you and then you'll get banned ASAP right when you get reported with the b word or anything else you use so when somebody else where is that you you report them first before they report you

    when somebody changes their gamer tag, the previous one is not made available straight away, also it could be taken by somebody using it for another part of Microsoft services, gamer tags are not only used for live.

    Disgusted !

    While I whole heartedly agree anyone that cheats etc should be banned. does that give Microsoft the right to randomly ban a console?.

    He is 19yrs old and an adult. So should be able to know right from wrong.

    Yet his gamer tag gets banned but his fat console is fine on live.

    But My 14 month console downstairs gets banned for something that was out of my control. If and I say if. (because he won`t admit he has done nothing wrong) he did modify his gamer tag in anyway, and it had been flagged. then. why am I being persecuted for
    something I had no control of.

    After all didn't Microsoft say that you could move your account by usb stick from your console to another (i.e. friends etc.) so potentially any console that he had used his gamer tag on could be banned, if he had modified his gamer tag!.

    I`m sorry but if he did do something wrong then he deserves the ban but why should I loose my console . Or for that matter anyone else that came into contact with a flagged gamer tag?.
