Just to confirm, have you already migrated your Mojang account to a Microsoft account?

If so, unfortunately, in recovering your Microsoft account, you should at least know the current Microsoft account's email address where your Minecraft game was linked to. If we don't have it, we cannot proceed with the account recovery using the Microsoft's online recovery tools.

Try to find traces on your email inbox for any email confirmation regarding the possible changes that were made onto your account.

Alternatively, try to check with Minecraft support team if they could help you find your correct Microsoft account by submitting a ticket through https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/request/new

Excuse my late response, had some trouble getting THIS account back after trying some fishy stuff to get to my old one.

That's tragic. Means I lost all of my progress on my account.

I understand that I can't recover my old account now. I am lucky that I "only lost" an account to a game, could've easily lost much more to be frank.

So I can create a new Microsoft account with my old email I had been using before, since it doesn't matter anymore?

I suppose I also can't ask for my old Minecraft username if I were to buy a new account, let alone get it for free?

(FYI, I have since regained access to my mail inbox)
