Account details gone

So my son had a account on a Xbox one s and I recently signed him into my Xbox series X with the same email . Now it is Asif it's a completely different account but same email . Now on his one s he cannot login anymore he has lost all his gamerscore and fortnite skins

Have you gone to https://accounts.live.com to login in with the account details? usually if the account is blocked it will direct you through the steps to get it unblocked.

you can't, unless you can prove you own the account then its gone, this is why you should always backup or write down your account details, there is no such thing as a make and forget account. in this day and age it is vital that you keep a record of all your accounts and details.

I am wondering if it's possible to track where they have gone, if it's a single account then they possibly can get the details of the scammer.

I don't know if it's even worth bothering them with it

For anyone having this Error Code, I can say it worked for me as well tonight. Thanks for the detailed fix. I was worried my 8yr account was gone. Much Obliged.
