account chaos

hi guys

well i have to say , iam returning to Microsoft centric after using ios for nearly everything apart from a few office docs.. this started because i was concerned about data safety and after reviewing cloud packages the 365 family gave me multiple user and
6 tb for less than my current drobox fee.

it also made sense as my son has just had an xbox. would make connectivity smooth (you would think) . i will say the products themselves look great and think it will all work out however we have had issues.

i hope someone at Microsoft reads this and sorts something out . the issues started with xbox.

My son got an Xbox one on the Saturday morning of our anniversary which we treat as a present day. he was so exited . i will say at this point iam no tech or computer genius, but iam director of a company and keep the it running for a team of 5 so not completely
illiterate. we had him plugged in and fired up in 10 mins. Then the fun began. It asked for Microsoft log in ,at this point we didn't have and why should we need a Microsoft log in to use a product we have paid for. Anyway Tobi is 8 and at the time i wanted
to have parental control , he also doesn't have an email. at this point i made what turned out to be a disastrous mistake , partly because time was ticking on and he was getting disappointed , i put in his birthday and used my email.

Then the fun began , we logged in as John@........co we where in . we tried a few bits , and asked for a log in each time. it quickly became apparent that there wasnt much to do with out a games pass which seemed good value . so i tried to buy one log in again
of course , we couldn't get one because of tobis age , needed a parent to authorise . i tried, but remember i had used my email for Tobi account , so had to set my wife up with a Microsoft account .then make her the responsible adult log her in , go back
to Xbox log in , by the games pass , go back to my wife for a code on her phone

another hour on our anniversary of log ins , codes , verifications and complete and utter frustration for everyone Tobi finally sat down at his Xbox and played Minecraft.

Then he wanted to play Roblox with his friends a few weeks later , Log on , cant he hasn't got multiplayer. another hour of logging on , verifications ,one time codes.

It goes on , nearly every time he uses the thing there is endless logging in to get it to work or some stumbling block , log in log in log in .

in desperation i did live chat with Xbox and they made the account adult , which i didn't want really but if its a choice between giving up on it (which is where i was at) and trusting him with an eye on what he was playing it seemed the only way

I can not express on a public forum the level of frustration (hesitant to use the term homicidal rage) this has caused , you log in once once your in you do what you want then you log out . not log in every time the screen changes.

I then set up 365 , after a log in battle between the windows log in and my Microsoft log in i am in but my business PC now calling me Tobi , i need parental permission from my wife to download google chrome( even though he is registered as an adult)

so my question is how do i get my email back for my use, and create Tobi player profile on a new email address ?

its not as simple as just changing the email in his account as my email john@......co will still be seen by Microsoft in general as Tobi and a child

thanks for any help , sorry about the rant but i'am hoping Microsoft will see this and do something about it . I am all for security and child protection on line but you have to be able to use the products you have paid for!
