    Account cant sign on


    Hey everybody. My brother in law is having a problem. There are 4 xboxs in the home, with 2 accounts. None of them can sign on to xbox. He also can not sign on to any microsoft services online. Even this very site. When trying to get on his xbox account he gets a message saying something is wrong with his account when trying to sign in his profile. Any ideas? We are on the same internet provider and I have no problems at all. He cant get on xbox.com to be able to use any trouble shooters either. He can go to other online sites, just nothing to do with xbox or microsoft.

    I unplugged my xbox and plugged back in is how I reset it. I have not tried removing and redownloading my account

    Update : I have removed and redownloaded my account and now I can access my account , thanks for the help

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that your brother in law is having issues logging in to his Xbox account.

    For us to isolate the issue, kindly provide the exact error message that he receives when trying to login.

    In addition, let's make sure that what he is experiencing is not related to cache. Use a different web browser such as Microsoft Edge and open InPrivate mode then try logging in.

    This is going to be a profile issue.

    That error code usually means that the account that the email your using isn't associated to an account.

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-80151006

    With this type of you issues, your going to need to contact xbox live.

    They should be able to see if they can find your profile and if needed, get the case escalated so they can get the right email on the right profile.
