“Account cannot do this because of how your account is setup.”

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

For cases like this what we initially need to do is to quit the game and perform power cycle in that way once you launch the game your in-game data will just re-sync.

Kindly quit the game and follow the steps below before you re-launch the game.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Also, please sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

you cannot play online multiplyer through xbox live because of how your account is setup- How do I resolve this one ?

When I log in to xbox I can only see one gamertag under my profile (Simon) which was setup for another child. I can't see the one my son, Joe, has (he has a microsoft account setup under me as part of family). How do I get to see this one and change the
settings in xbox to allow Joe to add friends?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on privacy settings. To change a child's settings you need to log onto your account then go to family. Once in family you will choose the child you want to change. Here is a guide for
troubleshooting online settings. Also you may want to change the cross play here is a guide.

privacy and online settings? We will give you the
steps to change the exact ones for the cross platform use.

1. You will go to the Xbox websiteand sign in.
   
   
   
   
2. Once signed in, click your picture top right corner go to Xbox profile.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on privacy settings.
   
   
   
4. Once in settings, under the picture see Privacy, Xbox One/Windows 10 online safety. Select the Xbox one/Windows 10 online safety.
   
   
   
   
5. You will see you gamertag you are looking for one setting:
   
   
   
   
6. The two you want to make sure say allow and everybody are:
   
   1. "you can play with people outside of Xbox live" set to allow
      
      
      
      
   2. Now click on privacy you are looking for one setting:
      
      "you can communicate outside of Xbox live with voice and text" set to allow
