Go to https://account.live.com and sign in with your Microsoft accou

Click on Security at the top of the scree

Click on Update Info in the middle tile where it says Update your security inf

You will be prompted to verify your account by sending a code to the existing security proofs on fil

Note: You may first be asked to enter your password again depending on your device's setting

If you do not have access to those proofs, choose I don't have any of these and click Nex

Choose to add either a phone number or email address from the dropdown men

Note: When adding a phone number to your account, do not include the country code in the phone number you enter. The country code is automatically added by choosing the countr

A code will be sent to the phone number/email address that you have chosen. Enter that code as directe

For a phone number, enter the code as directe

For an email, you will need to click on the Continue button in the automated email. Then follow the next screen prompt
