    I just used two 15 dollar gift cards on my account it says I have 30$ in my account but it won't let me use the money from those cards on anything it doesn't even show up that I have it when I press by and it takes me to the payment options page.

    Hello There! I recommend trying the troubleshooting steps here:

    After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

    First, please select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

    Then, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2-3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

    If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

    If the issue persists, please contact our live support Contact us | Xbox Support.

    If you experience any issues requesting a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website, go through Microsoft support. Once you get to the virtual agent just say “Talk to an agent” and select Xbox as the product, and your issue from the list. Select the option “Call me back” or “Live chat”, which shows the estimated wait time/queue.

    They're pretty much the same, when you redeem the gift card the balance gets added to your Microsoft account for usage.

    https://Billing.microsoft.com will also have the available balance of points and a complete history of their usage on your account. If they were promotional, youll be able to find out there as well.
