    Account Balance NOT Recorded while making In-App Purchases


    I'm trying to make an In-App Purchase on Asphalt 8's Festival Event Premium Pass that cost $19.99 ($20 roughly). On the payment method page, it still says that my balance is $3.62, despite redeeming the Gift Car code that I had that's priced at $25.

    Are you trying to purchase from the website or the console? Currently it's not possible to make a purchase with currency on the website. You would have to make the purchase from the console.

    In order to use account balance for dlc you must purchase via the console

    So when you redeem the gift card from Microsoft Rewards, it is added to your account in your Microsoft Account balance. When you make a purchase on Xbox or the Microsoft Store app, there should be an option to use your Microsoft Account balance as a payment option.

    Hi there,

    not everything can be purchae via account balance. Some items can only be purchased via a payment option like a credit card and can't be purchase via the balance on your account.

    For example when purchasing Xbox 360 content via xbox.com, Xbox APp or Xbox One console this can only be purchase via payment option.
