    We bought Xbox live Gold and have redeemed the code. Then we signed into the MS Account signup and now it says that we don't have gold membership. When we try and go back in with the code it says that it has already been redeemed. There doesn't seem to be
    any method of getting in touch with Microsoft - the chat won't let me sign in. Can anyone help?

    When I try to connect my epic games account to Xbox live it says your Xbox live account is already linked to an epic games account, Im very confused because it won't show me what account this is, also when I press 'back' it returns me to the page where I
    can click to connect to a psn, xbl or twitch account and Im back to where i started,

    Any un-needed xbox live trials?

    Aren't trials for new accounts? Meaning, the account you just made couldn't use the trial, because you've already made that account?

    where did you redeem the code? On Xbox.com or via the Xbox console?

    Just to be sure, are you 100% sure you are logged in with the account were the code was used on?

    Thanks very much for the reply. This is the first useful information I have had after about 5 hours of trying with Microsoft. One issue is that my kids set it up and they had to get parental approval with m account, so it's possible that we are using the
    wrong account. But now I have got the South Africa support number I hope they will be able to sort it out. Thanks so much for the help

    I tried to reply but it seemed to fail.

    After a long investigation, it appears that someone else redeemed the code before we got it, which presumably means that the code got sold twice. All the other stuff was a red herring as it turns out. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.

  9. In South Africa from an online retailer called Takealot. They haven't (yet) explained exactly what happened but I have asked them to do so
