Accidently Purchasing the Wrong Platform for a game

I bought a game (MCC) with the intent of playing it on Xbox. And since I was away from it, I bought it on my PC (which is pretty old). Without realizing, I bought the PC version instead of the Xbox one (didn't know
they were separate versions), eventually downloading the PC game thinking it was an add on to my original purchase. My PC barely ran the game and I spent most of my time just watching the loading screen. I literally only played 2.1 missions out of the 55 in
a span of a few hours due to how slow it was, and that simply does not equate to what you would consider two hours of maximum gameplay (a refund detail I later found out about). It wasn't until I had access to my Xbox a few days later did I realize that I
have bought the wrong version. I have contacted Xbox customer support, who referred me to the refund team, who themselves simply skimmed through and said 'Our refund policy doesn't allow refunds for digital game products that have been played or consumed.
'. With no context, refuting any refunds. I only have one more week until I am entirely unable to refund. So I have a question, is there anyway I can exchange my PC license for the Xbox version. I have uninstalled the game entirely from my PC, because I am
simply waiting until someone can negotiate with me. Both games are also the same price, so the transfer itself should be sensible, and should be considered.
I've spent all savings on this game and would definitely like to see if someone can actually help me.

I'm afraid it's not that simple.

If you've played for a certain amount of time then it voids the returns policy.

If you go to the live chat at the contact us page and type speak with an agent you should get to someone who can help you more than we can as we are just the help team with no powers over xbox.

I have come in contact with the contact us team, and they also felt the same empathy. But it was also outside of their power. It hurts to see that the most helpful people don't have much flexibility when it comes to certain policy problems. I wish there
was a way to reach out to those with more administration over certain Xbox problems. To have to acknowledge petty mistakes now puts incredible strain on a consumer, especially those furtive terms and conditions that only the most dedicated would read.

If there's any way I can get in contact with those with higher access, I'd be interested in figuring out. I am simply frustrated with how you are unable to exchange versions because you dipped your toes into a game you had no intention of playing fully.

I hope this context would help me reach a solution.

Did you purchase the Xbox version of the DLC by accident? There is a separate Windows version

All Microsoft games are Xbox, regardless of platform

There you will have to fill out the form with some information that will be requested and you should know that in case the refund request is rejected, you will have to respond to the email they sent you explaining the reason for your refund so that the team in charge can review the request again.

You should also know that game refunds must be made before 14 days have passed since the game was purchased and the game has not been played for a long time, that is, considerable hours of play have not been accumulated. Otherwise, if these prerequisites are not met, the game cannot be refunded.

Subscriptions can be refunded within 30 days of purchase.
