Accidentally made a wrong decision, can't reuse the email anymore (Minecraft)

So a month ago when my brother and I bought this game, I wanted to use my old Minecraft account from when the game first came out, and attach it to my gaming account instead of my personal one, but accidentally made a new account with the gaming email
in the process. I tried deleting the account, in hopes I could recover from my mistake, and, again, accidentally clicked on "deactivate account", which at the time, I thought that it would delete the account tied to my gaming email, but didn't work. I need
help to actually delete the account, rather than deactivating it, so I can switch out my personal account on the old Minecraft account, for the new one.

Thanks for coming to the forums. When you deactivate the account, it takes 60 days to complete. So when you deactivate you cant sign into the account at all, if you do it activates it again. There is no way around this, the 60 day time period is just a safety
measure to make sure. When you deactivate it, just wait the 60 days then it will be deleted.

If you close your Microsoft account, there’s a 60-day grace period during which you can change your mind and reopen your account. After 60 days, your Microsoft account will be permanently deleted. See

Is it possible I can play on my old Minecraft account before changing it's email address? I'm worried that when I change it's email address it will reset all my worlds, servers, and skins, and won't recall my username in-game.

Wait, are you talking about Microsoft, or was it an auto correct error. My microsoft account is fine, but the one i need help with is my “Minecraft” account.
