When the “let this app access your info” popped up, did you click yes? It’s almost certainly crashing trying to access online services, which means you either didn’t give it permission, and you may not have had the opportunity to do that, or that you have ports blocked on your router that is trying to access

0x80070005 is the "Access Denied" error. In the Store page, go to Settings and make sure you are using the same account with which you installed your games.

To uninstall apps, press Start and/or search for the app in the Metro menu. Right click on it and a menu will pop up at the bottom of the screen. Select "uninstall" and this should fully uninstall the app.

After trying these steps, let me know if you're still having issues.

Tried a few times to both uninstall and reinstall, as well as use the verify and repair tool to fix the issue but neither fixed the problem.

Interestingly, after making and using a dummy local account, I was prompted with the "Let this app access your info?" pop-up, this time making sure to click yes. Doing so added the game data back to my list of "apps and services you've given access to", yet the the online is still non-functional, both on the dummy and my main account.

I've had this issue with this particular game in the past, but I can't recall how I solved it. Looking around online, the online multiplayer problem I'm having seems to be a common bug, and I haven't had similar issues with other games I've gotten on the Game Pass. I think it's safe to chalk this one up to some kind of connection issue, either on my end or the game servers.

Knew to check the NAT and server connectivity in the Gaming tab of the windows settings, both were open and connected respectively. Double checked this was this still the case in the Xbox Companion App, and followed the directions in the second half of your reply to the letter just to be certain; on my end, everything's as right as rain.

Ran the game again, but to no new changes. Again, I've had this exact issue in the past with Gang Beasts in particular, but I don't remember exactly how I remedied it. I'm fairly certain it involved receiving several spammed invites from a friend until one of the systems at play gave up, and let me join my friend's lobby.

Oh well. I do greatly appreciate your help on the matter!
