Accidentally Canceled Xbox Live

I accidentally purchased Xbox live gold membership twice and was wondering if there was a way to cancel one of the payments?

Turning off auto-renewal will not cancel your LIVE subscription. If you feel that your LIVE subscription was canceled accidentally, please contact phone support to figure out why.

My stepson has had the same issue, he bought pre paid gold 12 months saw the £1 upgrade for the month and he has now lost 11 months of gold live its now been a month later it still not back on. He finally told me the other day to see if i could help, so
i tried to call .....No xbox live calls due to covid no email directly anywhere to be found and no help.

i called Microsoft and you have people on phones for “product registration” yea you can find staff for new business!

So how can he get his gold back on that he has paid for?

you have to legally respect the contract that he entererd into with you and Xbox has failed its customers here with no customer service or help.

The 1$ promotion is for Game Pass Ultimate which includes Gold, Game Pass for Xbox, and Game Pass for PC. Since Ultimate includes all of those, your gold was automatically cancelled and upgraded to Ultimate when you made the purchase. So cancelling Ultimate
cancels everything.

When he purchased Ultimate, it would have cancelled the Gold and converted it to Ultimate as well since it includes Gold (so he would have had 2+ years of Ultimate). By cancelling the subscription it does cancel everything. If support can't reinstate it,
a new subscription would have to be purchased.
