Accidentally added Xbox live code on the wrong Microsoft account? How can this be fixed

I couldnt figure out where to add the xbox live code on my xbox. So i went on to a laptop to do it but it added it to a different microsoft account. Not the one for the xbox. How can i get it transferred to my xbox?

If you contact support ASAP there's a small chance you can have it transferred. In the meantime don't use or open anything associated with that other account until you can talk to someone, otherwise it may get used or viewed and at that point there's literally
no chance. In the future you have to make sure where you're adding a code to because most of the time once it's redeemed, that license is attached to the account and that's usually it. When I say you have a chance, make careful note that I'm saying basically
"most likely no, but I could be wrong" Hopefully you can get the item/code transferred to the proper account and have a great rest of the weekend!

(You can see how easy it was for me to accidentally login to the wrong one, when I installed the DLC content.)

Have you made sure that the code wasn't accidentally redeemed on a different account? If another Xbox Live profile was signed in when you redeemed the account it's possible it was added to that Gamertag. Let us know

Please head over to commerce.microsoft.com to ensure the code was activated on your account. If it was not perhaps you entered the code on the wrong account accidentally.

If the code was not accepted to your account or you entered it on the wrong account accidentally you should give phone support a call for more assistance. 1-800-469-9269 in North America.

Sorry to hear it. Please double check commerce.microsoft.com to ensure that the code was applied to your account. If not then perhaps you may have accidentally applied it to another account.

If the code was successfully applied to your account or accidentally added to a different one you will still need to contact phone support for more assistance.

If the code was accidentally applied to a different account support may be able to cancel it and send you a code to apply to your regular account. If it was applied to your regular account and is not showing it they should be able to look into it and fix
it from their end.
