Access to Minecraft but not documents?

I see. Lisa, unfortunately, since his using your account, there's no way to limit his access to it, since he is logged into your account.

What you could do instead is lock those docs with a password:

Go to File > Info > Protect Document > Encrypt with Password.

Type a password, then type it again to confirm it.

Save the file to make sure the password takes effect.

As for the progress, I'm afraid you can't transfer it to another account as well.

My son currently uses my microsoft account to sign in to minecraft, however, I've noticed that my confidential word docs etc are available on his laptop now.

He doesn't want to lose his progress, but I don't want to to have my documents on his machine.

The question is, can I allow him to access the game only from his own lap top so that he doesn't lose his progress, without also granting him access to my work files? Or can I transfer his progress to his own microsoft account?

I've submitted a lot of tickets to the Minecraft Help Center, but nobody gave me a proper document. That's why I asked here...

They will contact you here. If they need any documentation they will ask for it but they can access your account so it generally is not needed.
