Access to game sharing on Xbox One

Hi, I have been game sharing with a friend for about 12 months now and all of a sudden the game sharing has stopped. As I tried to click on the game it said my friends profile had to be signed in to play.

I contacted him asking if he game shared with anyone else or did anything to change the game sharing and he has said he hasn't done anything. We try and game share again but it says that I cannot do it anymore and I will have to wait till the 21/10

Can anyone please advise how I can game share once again?

To add, does your friend live in the same household as you? If not then what you are doing is actually against the rules.

The "home xbox" feature was never meant for sharing games with friends. It was only ever meant for people who have 2 xboxs so that they dont have to pay twice for a game on two systems you own.

If its giving you the date that means all game share are used up. Did the friend try to sign in on their end for you to play to see if it worked??

You cannot share all things with EA Access.

You cannot share Early Access trials and discounts.

You cannot use the EA Access app unless your Xbox account is subscribed.

You can share any EA games from the vault that you have installed with your profile.

You can share any EA games you purchased.

You can share Xbox One Games with Gold that you have installed with your profile.

You can share any purchased games and most DLC.

You can share online multiplayer benefits.

You can share any Game Pass game.

You cannot share across consoles. Game sharing/Gold sharing is meant for sharing games on one console.

You will need two subscriptions. You may also have both profiles signed in on the console that’s designated as ‘Home’, this way, both parties can access the same games.

However, if someone wants to play on the other console and signs out of the one with gold sharing, they will no longer have access to the benefits of Gold sharing and would require a separate XBL subscription to play.

Other users can share games and subscriptions on one Xbox console if the account that has access to the game or subscription is set as their home Xbox.
