    I bought forza horizon five a while ago and played it. I uninstalled it a while ago and when i try to reinstall it every time it reaches 100 percent im met with Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005). I tried with both the microsoft store and the xbox app. Before this It wouldnt even start the download and would be stuck as preparing, however after i reset my computer and kept my files I am now met with this issue. Oddly enough I also noticed that in my Z drive there was a file where forza was located but it never said i had it installed so i deleted it from within my Xboxgames file. I also noticed that if i tried downloading forza or any other xbox game to my Z drive it says that I must select a file, but when i choose my xboxgames file it says "You cant change your default location while that folder is in use." I have no idea if any of these issues are connected but these are all issues ive noticed recently.

    • Navigate to the drive where you intend to install Forza Horizon 5 (e.g., Z: drive).
    • Right-click on the folder (e.g., XboxGames) and select 'Properties'.
    • Go to the 'Security' tab and ensure your user account has full control over the folder. If not, click 'Edit' and add the necessary permissions.
    2. Change the Default Game Installation Location in the Xbox App:

    • Open the Xbox application, click the profile menu in the top right corner, and select 'Settings'.
    • Click on 'General' and, under the 'Game Installation Options' section, select the drive where the games will be installed by default.
      • Optionally, enable the 'Ask me to install' option for each installation.
