Access DLCs on multiple gamer IDs on same XBox One

My research indicated that if you receive a DLC code and install it on one gamer ID that it would be accessible across the whole console. However, we aren't seeing the DLC on the second gamer ID. This is for the Add on content from the Fallout 76 Tricentennial version.

Any suggestions on this?

Gears of War 3 DLC problems

When will the problems with Gears of War 3 DLC on a multiple gamer tag system be fixed?

1) Contrary to what the Usage Restrictions state, the DLC can only be accessed when the user who purchased the DLC is signed in.

2) Online play (eg. Versus) is not accessible unless the user who purchased the DLC is signed in.

 

License Transfer

Yes, as long as you are the one who purchased the content. DLC on Xbox is identified by 2 different ID's: Console ID & Profile ID. Since you will be License Transferring to another console; any users using Xbox #2 will have access to all the dlc that was
transferred to that console no matter which profile they are using. Doesn't have to be logged in as you to work.

Hi Paul,

All of the Tricentennial add on content is only showing on one account and not accessible on the account we wanted it on. So the extra skins, frame, etc.

 

I don't know if it applies to this game in particular but developers can lock their DLC to the account that bought and have it not shared.

 

So I guess I should check with Bethesda then.

Cosmetic items like the skins in the trcentenial edition are normally not shareable with other accounts

 

Maybe you would have to set this profile as your home console to have access to this content

 

I tried but the Xbox Live is on a different ID on the console so we can't play with this ID to see if it's there.

We suggest if it hasn't been done already, to reach out to
Bethesda support since they might be able to do something about the licensing issue at hand. There really is nothing wrong with the Microsoft accounts since they are set up properly, give it a shot and let us know if we can further assist in this or any
other matter.

 

You can play this game this game if your account is connected at same time as his

 

Ill give you an example using the FO universe of DLC that would be usable across accounts.

For instance in FO 4 like Nuka World, Contraptions, Vault Tech DLC.

I do not believe stuff like skins and things like that are sharable across accounts.
