Academy player disappeared after signing full contract

I promoted two youth players to the squad, and after both signed contracts only one of them shows up in the squad. The other one is nowhere to be seen except in the contract view from office, where I can still see his contract and expiry etc.

Any ideas?

So there was a signed contract for a multiplayer game, and then a scope change request. Darkside can't necessarily blame Microsoft for what happened afterward. Darkside management should have told MS right then that the request could not be accommodated.

Update: I've tried again, with just him and it's stuck in a cycle of offering a contract, which he accepts, and then he appears back in the youth squad. And yes, there is room in my squad for him so it's not that.

For your unassigned items are they consumable items, if so your consumable pile is full you can only hold 50 at any one time. To keep my consumables down I tend to stack alot of contracts on players I plan to keep serveral of my players have 70+ contracts.

Each team has its own system. If your playstyle doesn't match that teams system, then you would perform as well. Adds more realism to the game IMO. You can't just pick a team because you like the team, you have to pick a system you will do well in.

In football it can be part of a players contract that the team that "trained him" from youth academy get a piece of the deal everytime that player is sold on...for example

as for the house thing...dude come on, stop reaching. Fact is, buy new you get the pass, you dont buy new and you will have to factor it in, hell just spend a shed of load of points to cover your passes if this is your line of game buying..but stop making
it out to be more then it is, because you end up just waffling semantics for no result and purpose
