Absolutely HORRIBLE customer support

Has any one else had different Xbox players send them nasty messages and when you respond back telling them to leave you [mod removed] alone they report your message and you receive a ban? I’ve now had a player report messages from the same conversation and received several bans off a conversation that happen days ago. I’ve reached out several times to Xbox who never get back to me but make sure to issue me a fresh ban every chance they get. So I guess I’m just wondering if any one else out there pays absurd amounts of money to play xbox online but instead regularly stare at the enforcement reminder because Xbox can’t get their [mod removed] together and doesn’t know how to properly filter through a conversation and punish the people starting the problems. Just the people that stand up for themselves and tell cyber [mod removed] to get lost.

that's Xbox for you, best thing to do is ignore all messages and just report and block them, never respond. or disable receiving messages full stop and use other communication methods instead.

I guess I was more or less venting because I’m tired of people getting away with that [mod removed] and wish Xbox would just filter the chats a little bit better. Like if some one makes a report they do a little follow up investigation or something along those lines to punish the initial offender instead of just going off the reports.

They can see both sides of the conversation when a report is made.

If you responded to the other person with something else that is against the rules (even if it was "defending yourself") such as profanity then theyd suspend both of you typically.

Thats why its best to just block and report them but not respond at all. They are counting (baiting) on you responding in a way thats against the rules just so they can have a reason to report you.

The only way to contact Enforcement is via suspension/ban appeal so, if you are trying to contact someone about it some other way, that would be why you are receiving no response.

You are finding out why the best reponse to players sending you nasty messages is to not respond....simply report them using the report button then block them and move on. There are plenty of sad people in the world who's aim is to get people banned/suspended and if you say even one wrong word, they will report you.
