About to lost my patience with microsoft-please help with adding credit cards

Ive just got an Xbox One and am trying to set it up to purchase games. I´m logged in on my usual live account that I was using to purchase games on my 360.

The issue I had on 360 is that I live in Spain but want to play in English. This is apparently absurd to Microsoft, that people living anywhere but UK, US, Aus etc would want to use English. The only way I could register a credit card with my 360 was to
change the entire system to be in Spain and in Spanish, as I couldnt register my province or post code. And that sucked, as I had no choice but to download games in Spanish and when playing in depth RPG my Spanish isn´t good enough.

Now, Im logged on my Xbox One on my usual live account and have the country set to UK so I can have it in English this time. It is saying no credit card is registered, even though my microsoft account says yes, my usual is still there. I tried to register
my usual again but of course I cant due to the province being locked to UK. I switched the console to spanish and Spain and wow, there it is, my card. Switched it back and nope, no card same problem. Only option to download the games in spanish (I can get
some in English but many end up in Spanish with no English option).

Im going insane. I tried to purchase game son the online store through my lap top but same deal, it´s telling me to register a new card even though when I check my micrsoft account the old one is there and fine.

Please help! I still have a week to return my xbox and im starting to think about going to PS4.

Cant buy microsoft points/credit card denied

i want to buy 400 microsoft points for something for my avatar, but everytime I add my parents' debit card (mastercard) it says "This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact
your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card." I checked everything and everything is inputted correctly. Please someone help. thanks in advance

 

Can't purchase from xbox live marketplace + can't manage payment options

Now there still hasn't been any improvement. I still get the same status code's.

Today i figured out i could also make changes in my account with my computer, so i tried adding my paypal account.

When i try adding it it automatically suggest to add a credit card aswell for immediate purchases ( which makes no sense to me, why else would i want to pay with paypal if i have to use credit cards instead?)

I tried adding my credit card & now there's seems to be a problem with it & i should contact my bank for further help..

+ I hadn't used this credit card since 48 hrs & i can do other payments swell with it.

Does someone know what's going on? would appreciate some help!

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with your account mate. Actually, the reason why when you change the locale of the console to UK you can't see your credit card attached is because your card was attached to your Spain account. When you add a card, it
is only attached to the region where you have registered it and not to all the regions for xbox live. That's the reason why when changing the locale of the console, your actually trying to change the region of the marketplace where you're trying to purchase.

So to clear it up. To purchase on specific regions. You need to have a credit card available for that specific region. This is due to licensing of games that are bought inside and outside the user's region and also due to taxes applied. Its against the terms
of agreement to manipulate and take advantage of other regions prices for there items.

What I could recommend here is to purchase digital gift cards to redeem under your account. Then just set up a UK/US billing address. Once you load up your gift cards. Then your account will have enough credits to buy games.
