About to buy a Series x

Hey, I have an xbox one x and am waiting to be able to afford a series x. I have been a fan since the original back in 2001 (and i am only 20 years old).

you guys told me when i was 13 that you wouldn’t make a console that was online only. Well i’m sick of the lies, i live out in bumblebram egypt now and without internet the xbox one x is unusable.

getting a ps5, you guys really dropped the ball this time. And i put up with the red ring of death for years. I even put a broken 360 underneath a blanket just to play grand theft auto 5.

Seriously, learn from playstation, quit trying to be the next new thing and just put a god damn computer inside of a black box (not vertical, stupid) because everyone that isn’t connected to the internet hates you right now.

Huh no console requires the internet

You do to step up only once I donno where you get your info but you might want to read first

Ps5 overheats so much you can make your breakfast on it and thqts normal temperature and is RARE

Most consoles require you to register online for one reason warranty

If yoi want to buy digital games considering it is hard to get physical media due to the current world situation and being out and about ismt advisable atm you have to have internet its a no brainer

And who dorsnt have internet unless you are out in the boonies which case you have other issues then finding a RARE console even series x is hqrd to find

Neither the xbox one x or the series x are online only consoles.

You do need to be online the first time you set up the console then once it's setup you put it into offline mode & you can use it offline.

Don't own a PS5 but i'm pretty sure you need to be online when first setting a PS5 up as well.

Modern consoles need software updates when you first set them up.

Microsoft introduces "Smart Delivery" with the Xbox Series X, which means, that if you own an existing game (like Minecraft in your example, or Gears 5) or a new game comes out for Xbox One and Xbox Series X with improved graphics on Series X, you won't
have to buy the game twice.

With Smart Delivery you will play the "enhanced" version on Series X, and the "normal" version on Xbox One.

My bad 343 industries, i dont care about coop that I can deal with it... But freaking trend of making multiplayer cross platform to please computer players? No, i spent money to buy an xbox serie x... To play against series x.. not against computer

It is true that someone who just bought an xbox one x will be a little upset to buy another new console. But it had been announced that series x would have came out in 2020. Plus, one x is quite ‘cheap’ now: where i live it is about 300€ since november
(and maybe also since before). The series x should cost 400 according to rumors
