    I knew that the integrated version would be free to use, so I tried to get a gift code and play.However, I received an error and could not receive

    Hello akari_097,

    Were you trying to get the Free key for having purchased the Java version?

    From the information this post is giving ( https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/ancient-java-players--you-attention-please- )
    you should be able to get it if you purchased the java edition before October 19th 2018.

    Is that your case?

    Also, what error did you receive?

    Yes this is from the beta trying to integrate with the normal minecraft. Once you opt out of beta, you have to uninstall beta version and install the normal version again.

    Exactly what I was thinking, CollapseControl.

    I have Minecraft on PC, and absolutely love it, even though I only get about 16fps. (very basic PC) On Xbox, play will be smooth. Xbox360 is my primary gaming platform. None of my friends but two have the PC version of Minecraft, but are curious about it
    now, because it will be coming to XboxLive.

    Also, the flexibility will come in time. Once it is released, Mojang/4J Studios will be working on integrating the PC version's features one by one, and this will include support for texture packs, character skins, and mods.

    Rather why go for the version that, while good, is demonstrably worse?

    Hell the minimum requirements for Minecraft are a Pentium-D and integrated graphics

    So your saying you purchased the wrong version of Minecraft. You purchased the Xbox One version instead of the Windows 10 version (Has Xbox Live integrated too btw).

    You need to reply to the email you got, and explain you have not played the game, as you purchased for Windows 10 but mistakenly got the Xbox One version instead. Hopefully they will understand what happened and give you a refund.
