    Hello

    It’s the first time I’ve ever needed to send a device into Xbox so I don’t know how it works fully, my series x was overheating after having had bought it in dec 2022, sent it into Xbox and received an email today (after one day of saying it had been delivered) that it had been processed and was being sent back

    But they haven’t told me what was wrong or what they’ve done with it? So I don’t know what the issue was and if it’s been fixed, it appears as though they haven’t actually done anything with it despite it being in warranty, since I haven’t been told what’s happened, is this common? Would they have told me what was wrong with it and fix it or replace it? Or are they really returning the Xbox to me without having done anything to it?

    My warranty also went from ending in December 23 to set to ending tomorrow?

    I haven’t received it yet it’s being shipped so I don’t know, but the warranty has changed, it says it ends tomorrow, not in dec which is what it said originally

    Is the xbox repaired or replaced, if your xbox has another registration number is another xbox, the warranty time is not changed, and it happens that they do not inform what was done, only that it was repaired, is it still overheating?

    You'll find that these days no firms are doing repair, they verify your system is in functional and then they grab a refurbished unit off of the top of the stack and send it to you.

    The only people who are getting their gear directly worked on especially at the micro soldering level, by the manufacturer are people buying extremely expensive professional gear. They typically take the defective units, salvage the parts that they can from them, and use them to build functional refurbished consoles in another location
